NetEase announced the end-of-service (EOS) for their mobile horror action game, Dead by Daylight Mobile. After a four-year run since its global Android release, the game is officially shutting down. The PC and console versions remain unaffected.

For those unfamiliar, Dead by Daylight Mobile is a 4v1 mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's popular Dead by Daylight. The original PC version launched in June 2016, with the mobile version following in April 2020.

Dead by Daylight Mobile pits players against each other as either Killer or Survivor in a thrilling game of cat and mouse. Killers sacrifice Survivors to The Entity, while Survivors fight for survival.

The game's servers will officially close on March 20th, 2025. Downloads will cease on January 16th, 2025. Players who already have the game installed can continue playing until the final shutdown date.

NetEase will process refunds according to regional regulations. Further details on the refund process will be released on January 16th, 2025.

Existing players can transition to the PC or console versions of Dead by Daylight, receiving a welcome package as an incentive. Loyalty rewards will also be offered based on in-app purchases and XP earned on the mobile version.
