Dead Island 2's Patch 6 introduces thrilling new game modes and content!

New Game Modes and Challenges

The update delivers a highly anticipated New Game Plus (NG+) mode, allowing players to replay the entire game with increased difficulty. Your leveled-up character, inventory, and three extra skill slots carry over. Prepare for a tougher challenge with a raised level cap, new weapons, skins, and formidable new enemies.

Introducing the Revenants – enhanced Apex zombies with unpredictable behaviors and increased lethality. Developers describe the combination of NG+ and these new enemies as a significant difficulty spike. To counter this, all weapons in NG+ are more powerful than their base game counterparts, with a greater variety of fixed-rarity weapons to discover.

The update also features the exciting new Neighbourhood Watch horde mode. This unique blend of horde and tower defense challenges players to protect their base over five in-game days. The first four days involve defending against relentless zombie hordes while completing objectives to acquire valuable gear.
