Deadlock's Major Overhaul: A Three-Lane Battlefield

Valve has released a substantial update for Deadlock, completely revamping its core gameplay with a significant map redesign. The four-lane structure has been replaced with a more traditional three-lane MOBA layout.

This change drastically alters strategic gameplay. The previous "1 vs 2" lane distribution is obsolete; teams must now adapt to a likely "2 vs 2" arrangement per lane, demanding a complete reassessment of resource allocation and hero selection.

The map's redesign extends beyond lane structure, impacting the positioning of neutral camps, buffs, and other environmental elements. A new "map exploration" mode has been added, allowing players to freely navigate the revised map without the pressure of combat, facilitating familiarization with the new layout.

Further enhancements include modifications to the Soul Orb system. Players can now accumulate souls even without directly securing the kill, accelerating resource acquisition. Soul effects have also been refined, reducing air-hover times.

This comprehensive patch also includes adjustments to sprint mechanics and character balance, along with improved performance and numerous bug fixes.
