PC Alpha Went Live on August 6, 2024!

The Delta Force PC Alpha Test went live at around Aug 5, 9 p.m. EDT / 6 p.m. PDT. However, the developers announced on August 30 that the Alpha Test would close on September 8, or Sept 7, 8 p.m. EDT / 5 p.m. PDT for the United States.

Fans eager to dive into the action had several avenues to secure their spot in the Alpha Test:

Additionally, their official Twitter/X account frequently offered Alpha Test codes during special occasions and milestones, providing more opportunities for fans to join in.

July 24 Update: New Alpha Test Date Announced

Delta Force thrilled fans by announcing a new date for the delayed Alpha test set for August 6, 2024! Enthusiasts had multiple chances to gain entry, either through the official website, the official Steam page, or by securing keys via Twitch drops or special giveaways. For instance, their official Twitter/X account once hosted a giveaway where 100 lucky winners received codes for the Alpha test.

July 16 Update: Alpha Test Postponed

From the pre-alpha test conducted from July 11 - 15, the developers identified several critical errors that impacted gameplay for the limited group of participants. Consequently, they had to postpone the planned July Alpha test to focus on resolving these issues and ensuring "the best experience possible" for players.

Initially Scheduled Alpha Test

Delta Force was originally set to launch its Alpha Test on July 18, with no specific end date disclosed. Fans could attempt to gain access through various means, including filling out player surveys on the official website, requesting access on the official Steam page, or watching content creators on Twitch.tv to earn Steam keys through Twitch Drops.

The pre-alpha test from July 11 to 15 served as a crucial stress test, allowing a small subset of players early access. Engaging with all available platforms increased the chances of gaining this early-early access.

The Alpha Test was exclusively available on PC, either through the game's official client or via Steam. Note that access to one platform did not guarantee access to the other, as cross-progression was not enabled during the alpha phase.
