Sony Pictures has officially set a thrilling release date for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, slated to hit US theaters on October 29, 2025. This news came directly from Sony's CinemaCon presentation, where they revealed their acquisition of worldwide theatrical rights, excluding Japan, to bring Tatsuki Fujimoto's beloved work to the big screen this fall. Fans in the US can mark their calendars for late October, while over 80 countries will experience the film's premiere on September 24, 2025. Toho will handle the film's release in Japan, starting September 19, 2025.

The announcement of the Chainsaw Man movie came back in December 2023, setting the stage as a direct sequel to the MAPPA-produced anime that debuted in 2022. The story follows the journey of Denji, a young protagonist who gains a new lease on life after striking a deal with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. This pact grants him the extraordinary ability to sprout chainsaws from his body, transforming him into more than just a simple Chainsaw Man.

Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will introduce fans to the character Reze, a significant figure from the original manga. The film is directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and penned by Hiroshi Seko, with the full voice cast from the anime series returning to reprise their roles.
