Marvel Rivals is a team-based game built around collective objectives, yet it also features a range of solo challenges. Among these are numerous Achievements that must be completed individually. Here’s how you can locate and utilize the Celestial Codex in Marvel Rivals.

Finding the Celestial Codex in Marvel Rivals

While browsing the Chronoverse Saga Achievements for Season 1 of Marvel Rivals, several stand out. One requires you to play as a Norse God and perform an emote, while another directs you to find a statue of one of Wakanda’s most famous figures. However, the VENI VIDI V…? Achievement, seemingly straightforward, may be one of the trickiest to complete.

This Marvel Rivals challenge tasks you with locating an object called the Celestial Codex and spraying the nearby terminal. The catch is that the Celestial Codex only appears on the Klyntar map, and because the Achievement can only be earned in Quick Play, you’ll need a bit of luck to land on that location.

Once you begin a match on Klyntar, take note of your team’s starting side. The Celestial Codex is a large, floating mass located in the attacking team’s spawn area. If you start on the attacking side, you can quickly spot it and fulfill the challenge. If you’re defending, however, you’ll need to wait until your team secures the first checkpoint before accessing the enemy spawn zone.

How to Use the Celestial Codex in Marvel Rivals

Locating the Celestial Codex is only the first step—knowing how to interact with it is essential. No matter which side you start on, familiarize yourself with the spray command (T on PC, left on the D-pad for consoles). You can use any spray on the terminal in front of the Celestial Codex. To be safe, cover the entire area thoroughly to ensure the action registers when you return to the lobby.

Defenders planning to invade the enemy spawn should stay alert. Although you’re unlikely to encounter opponents near the Celestial Codex, it’s wise to remain cautious. Opt for agile characters like Spider-Man or Rocket Raccoon. Their mobility makes it easier to escape and reposition if an enemy arrives.

Finally, avoid leaving the match immediately after completing the VENI VIDI V…? Achievement. Abandoning your team undermines the cooperative spirit of Marvel Rivals—a game where all six players must work together to succeed. More importantly, leaving early might prevent the Achievement from being recorded if match stats aren’t finalized. Even if you finish the challenge early, stay to support your team until the end.
