After removing your Source collar, your goal is to get the Lady Vengeance underway. This requires unconventional methods; you can't simply use the helm. Explore the ship, talk to NPCs, and gather clues. The key is accessing Magister Dallis' cabin and the Ancient Songbook within.

Investigate Dead Bodies

Begin by searching the bodies of the magisters and ghouls on deck. A dead magister carries a Sodden Diary containing a password needed later. You can also obtain the password by successfully completing a skill check with the northern stateroom door. You'll also need a Strange Gem, found later, to interact with the portside stateroom door. A magic mirror (south of the stateroom doors) allows unlimited respeccing if you need to improve skills for the check.

Find the Portside Stateroom Door

Use the password from the diary (or skill check) to unlock the portside stateroom door. Before this, examine Bishop Alexander (west of the cabin) to find a Strange Gem. Use the gem and the password ("Fortitude") to open the door. Inside Magister Dallis' cabin, you'll find more clues and a hidden hatch (containing ghouls and a Teleportation Prism).

Find the Ancient Empire Songbook

Talk to Dallis and exhaust his dialogue options. The Ancient Empire Songbook is on a pedestal in his cabin. Reading it reveals the song needed to move the ship. It's advisable to speak to all NPCs before proceeding, as interactions will be unavailable once the ship sets sail.

Set Sail

Go to the ship's deck and speak to Malady. After telling her about the songbook, she'll ask you to sing to the ship. Find the dragon figurine (west on the deck), interact with it, and choose the option to sing. This will start the Lady Vengeance. Be prepared for a challenging battle with powerful magisters immediately afterward. Ensure your party is adequately prepared.
