Get ready to GO big with a range of in-game events and rewards designed to elevate your gameplay.

During the Max Out season, trainers can encounter and battle against Dynamax versions of the following Pokémon in 1-star Max Battles:

• Bulbasaur
• Charmander
• Squirtle
• Skwovet
• Wooloo

Once caught, these Pokémon can be Dynamaxed along with their evolved forms, and there's even a chance to encounter their Shiny variants during these battles. Alongside the introduction of Dynamax, special Field Research tasks will be available during the event. Trainers can also participate in PokéStop Showcases, entering event-themed Pokémon for a chance to win exciting rewards.

Moreover, a new Seasonal Special Research story focused on Max Battles will be available. Trainers can complete these tasks to earn rewards including Max Particles, a new avatar item, and more. This Special Research can be claimed from September 3, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. local time to December 3, 2024, at 9:59 a.m. local time.

To support the new Dynamax battles, an exclusive Max Particle Pack Bundle, including 4,800 Max Particles, will be available for purchase on the official Pokémon GO web store starting September 8, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. PDT for $7.99.
