Registration for this eagerly awaited test opens on January 10, with the actual testing scheduled for February. Bandai Namco has not disclosed why PC users are being excluded from the initial testing phase. However, those fortunate enough to own the specified consoles will have the privilege of being among the first to dive into the new game ahead of its official release.

*Elden Ring: Nightreign* continues the narrative from the original game, introducing players to new experiences within a darker, more sinister setting. One notable change in *Elden Ring: Nightreign* is the removal of the traditional "leave a message" feature found in FromSoftware games. Project director Junya Ishizaki explained this decision in an interview, stating, "We disabled the messaging feature because there isn't enough time for sending or reading messages during sessions, which last approximately forty minutes." This adjustment aims to streamline the gaming experience, given the relatively short duration of each session.
