FromSoftware took to their Twitter (X) page on January 30, 2025, to announce that confirmation emails for the Elden Ring Nightreign network test have been dispatched. Fans who have been selected are buzzing with excitement, eagerly sharing their confirmation emails and thanking FromSoftware for the opportunity.

If you're among those who received a confirmation email, keep an eye out for a follow-up email on February 11, 2025. This email will include a unique code necessary to download the Network Test client on your preferred platform, available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

FromSoftware opened registration for the Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test from January 10 to January 20, 2025. Unfortunately, those who applied but didn't receive an email should know that there's currently no information on additional test dates.

Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test

FromSoftware describes the network test as a "preliminary verification test" where selected testers will experience a portion of the game before its full launch. The company aims to conduct "various technical verifications of online systems" through large-scale network load tests, helping to ensure their servers can handle multiple players simultaneously.

The Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test is scheduled to run from February 14 to February 16, 2025. Participants can join any of the five 3-hour test sessions:

• Session 1: February 14th from 3 AM to 6 AM PT
• Session 2: February 14th from 7 PM to 10 PM PT
• Session 3: February 15th from 11 AM to 2 PM PT
• Session 4: February 16th from 3 AM to 6 AM PT
• Session 5: February 16th from 7 PM to 10 PM PT

Scammers and Scalpers Already On The Move

Be on high alert for scams related to the Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test. Reports indicate a scam circulating on Steam where players receive an invite that, once clicked, redirects to suspicious pages. These pages can hack accounts and cause users to spam their friend lists with the same invite. Remember, FromSoftware only conducts registration and confirmation through their official website and social media accounts. Any links outside these channels are likely unauthorized or malicious.

Moreover, shortly after FromSoftware announced the dispatch of confirmation emails, scalpers began listing "confirmed test codes" on various buy-and-sell sites. These listings, with prices ranging from $150 to $200 and some even up for auction, surfaced despite the codes not being available until February 11.
