Elliot Page's 'Beyond: Two Souls' Gets TV Treatment
Elliot Page's Pageboy Productions is adapting Quantic Dream's Beyond: Two Souls into a television series.
According to Deadline, Page's production company secured the rights from Quantic Dream to develop the video game into a TV show. The project, currently in early development, aims to retain the game's distinctive non-linear narrative structure. Further details, including casting and release dates, remain undisclosed.
Page described his experience filming the game as "one of the most challenging and fulfilling acting experiences" of his career, emphasizing the story's "rich narrative and emotional depth." He aims to create a television adaptation that resonates with both existing fans and new viewers.

Matt Jordan Smitt, Pageboy's head of development and production, highlighted the team's commitment to honoring the game's legacy while incorporating fresh perspectives. He emphasized the themes of survival and the impact of crucial decisions as central to the narrative.
Originally released for PlayStation 3 in 2013, Beyond: Two Souls later appeared on PlayStation 4 (2015) and PC (2019). Directed and written by Quantic Dream's David Cage, the game follows Jodie Holmes, a young woman with psychic abilities and her connection to a spirit named Aiden. The game's non-linear storyline, exploring different periods of Jodie's life, and its star-studded cast, including Page and Willem Dafoe, were notable aspects.
David Cage confirmed his collaboration with Page on the TV series, although the extent of his involvement remains unclear. He expressed enthusiasm for the project and confidence in Page's ability to translate the story's emotional impact to television.
The Beyond: Two Souls TV series is still in its early stages, with a release date yet to be announced. You can read IGN's original review of the game here and find all our Quantic Dream game reviews here.
