This initiative coincides with the recent release of Patch 7.15, which introduced new side quests and the continuation of the popular Hildibrand storyline.

This generous offer is available across all platforms – PC, PlayStation, and Xbox – providing a perfect opportunity for lapsed players to reconnect with Eorzea. The four-day play period begins the moment a player logs into the game launcher. Eligibility is confirmed through the Mog Station, requiring an inactive account for at least 30 days prior to the campaign's start. Accounts suspended for violating terms of service are not eligible.

Producer and director Naoki Yoshida's recent New Year's message confirmed upcoming content, including Patches 7.2 and 7.3 in 2025, alongside smaller updates. He also hinted at the direction of the Dawntrail main storyline, fueling speculation among fans.
