"FIFPRO Licensed Fantasy Soccer Game Launches: Play with Crowd Legends"
Crowd Legends: Football Game, developed by 532 Design from Dundee, Scotland, marks the studio's first venture under their own banner. With a rich history in soccer game development, having contributed to titles like Championship Manager, Dream League Soccer, and Score Hero, 532 Design brings a wealth of experience to this new project. Dundee, known for its game design heritage, particularly through institutions like the University of Abertay, provides a fertile ground for such innovative projects, blending tradition, technology, and football culture.
What New Does Crowd Legends: Football Game Bring to the Table?
Crowd Legends: Football Game distinguishes itself from traditional football games by offering a unique daily challenge format. Each day, players are presented with a new formation challenge, such as a 4-3-3 or a 3-5-2, and must assemble their team using real FIFPRO-licensed players. Success in the game is not just about strategy but also community engagement; if your team selections receive approval from the community, you can climb the leaderboard. Additionally, players can vote on other matchups, attempting to predict the crowd's preferences and gauge their accuracy against the consensus.
A notable feature of Crowd Legends is its lack of AI-driven outcomes. Instead, winners are determined by votes from other real players, adding a social and unpredictable element to the game.
It’s Meant to be a Quick Football Fix
Leveraging their extensive experience in sports game development, 532 Design has crafted Crowd Legends: Football Game to be a streamlined, engaging experience. The game cuts out the fluff, focusing on delivering a quick football fix that players can enjoy on the go. With backing from FIFPRO, representing over 65,000 professional players worldwide, the game has launched on the Google Play Store across Europe. Those outside this region can pre-register to receive updates on its availability in their country.
