Fitness Boxing feat. HATSUNE MIKU ($49.99)

Following the Fitness Boxing series' success, including the surprisingly enjoyable Fitness Boxing Fist of the North Star, Imagineer's collaboration with Hatsune Miku felt like a natural progression. Having played it alongside Ring Fit Adventure, I'm impressed.

This rhythm-boxing game offers daily workouts, mini-games, and Miku-themed modes. It's Joy-Con exclusive, unfortunately. Difficulty options, free training, warm-ups, progress tracking, and unlockable cosmetics are included. The music is fantastic, but the main instructor's voice is distractingly off-putting.

While a solid fitness game, it's best used as a supplement to other routines rather than a standalone solution.

Magical Delicacy ($24.99)

Magical Delicacy blends Metroidvania exploration with cooking and crafting. While the exploration is well-executed, inventory management and UI could use improvement. The gorgeous pixel art and music are highlights.

The Switch version runs well, aside from occasional frame pacing hiccups. It shines in handheld mode thanks to its customizable UI. Further refinement would elevate it to an essential title.

Aero The Acro-Bat 2 ($5.99)

A polished sequel to the original, Aero The Acro-Bat 2 offers a solid 16-bit platforming experience. Ratalaika's improved emulation wrapper includes extras like box scans, achievements, and a gallery. The inclusion of only the SNES version is a minor drawback.

A recommended purchase for fans and those seeking classic platformers.

Metro Quester | Osaka ($19.99)

More of an expansion than a sequel, Metro Quester | Osaka builds upon the original's satisfying turn-based dungeon crawling. A new setting, characters, and challenges await. Careful planning is key.

A must-have for fans of the original and a great entry point for newcomers.
