Hatsune Miku's Fortnite Debut: A Virtual Pop Star Joins the Battle Royale

Get ready, Fortnite fans! Hatsune Miku, the iconic virtual singer, is arriving in Fortnite on January 14th. This collaboration brings two Miku skins – her classic look and a NEKO variant – along with themed cosmetics and music.

The classic Miku skin will be available in the in-game item shop, while the NEKO Miku skin will be part of a new Festival Pass. These passes, featured in Fortnite's rhythm-based Festival game mode, offer a unique way to unlock Miku and other rewards by completing in-game challenges. This follows Fortnite's established pattern of integrating popular characters and celebrities into its ever-expanding roster, previously featuring icons from Marvel, DC, and Star Wars.

This addition perfectly complements Fortnite's current Chapter 6 Season 1, "Hunters," which draws heavily from Japanese aesthetics. The season already boasts katana blades and Oni masks, creating a visually striking and action-packed experience. Miku's arrival further enhances this Japanese-inspired theme.
