How Split Fiction's Friend's Pass Works

Split Fiction is a purely co-op experience; no single-player mode exists. Play split-screen couch co-op or online co-op across platforms with just one game purchase.

Your friend simply downloads the free "Split Fiction - Friend's Pass" from their chosen digital marketplace on March 6th after you send them an invite. They can't play independently; the pass requires pairing with a game owner. This system mirrors Hazelight's approach in It Takes Two and A Way Out.

What is Split Fiction?

Split Fiction is a two-player action-adventure where a sci-fi and a fantasy writer get pulled into their own stories. Team up to battle enemies and solve puzzles in diverse sci-fi and fantasy levels. Expect thrilling motorcycle rides, gravity-defying challenges, shape-shifting adventures, and unique minigames like sand-fish riding and drone-powered water-skiing!
