Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is launching its first closed beta for Android and PC! Netmarble's new action-adventure title brings a third-person Westeros experience to players. Sign-ups are open now, with the beta kicking off January 15th!

Netmarble's Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, based on George R.R. Martin's books and the HBO series, will hold a closed beta from January 15th to the 22nd in the US, Canada, and select European regions. Android users can apply now!

Unlike previous Game of Thrones mobile games, which focused on strategy, Kingsroad offers a single-character perspective. Players become the heir to House Tyre, embarking on a Westeros adventure filled with battles and prestige-building.

The trailer showcases a Witcher-esque third-person gameplay experience, with three classes – Sellsword, Knight, and Assassin – to choose from. While visually impressive, the true test lies in gameplay.

Winter is coming (or, well, it's here, but you get the idea). Beta registration closes January 12th, so don't miss out! Game of Thrones: Kingsroad's impressive visuals are sure to attract attention, but also scrutiny. Despite the series' peak popularity waning, a dedicated fanbase eagerly awaits a ground-level Game of Thrones game.

Monetization and long-term support will likely be key factors in its success. However, if Netmarble delivers, it could become the Game of Thrones experience fans have longed for.
