Clash Royale players finally have reason to celebrate as Supercell introduces an evolution upgrade for the Inferno Dragon. This fiery legend has remained unchanged since its launch nearly a decade ago, but now receives a substantial power boost. To make the announcement memorable, Supercell teamed up with Finnish comedian Ismo Leikola for a creative reveal.

The Evolved Inferno Dragon fundamentally changes gameplay dynamics. Unlike its standard version that resets damage when switching targets, the upgraded form preserves accumulated damage for devastating effect.

Inferno Dragon Evolution Sparks New Season

Titled "How to Evolve Your Dragon!", the update introduces both the Inferno Dragon Evolution and the return of 2v2 League. Players can team up with friends or random partners to climb the competitive ladder.

Milestone Events become available starting at Arena 7, offering rewards including 3 Lumberjack Evolution Shards, an Epic Book of Cards, and unique cosmetics.

Crown Chase #1 provides a decorative Battle Banner plus an Epic Book of Cards, while Crown Chase #2 follows with another banner and Evolution Shards.

Multiple game modes will showcase the new Evolution cards through June and early July. The Inferno Dragon Evolution Draft runs June 2-9, followed by the Inferno Dragon Challenge (June 6-9) featuring a Battle Banner and Emote reward.

Evolution Mayhem (June 9-16) allows decks with up to 4 Evolution Cards. Magical Trio (June 16-23) and 4 Card Showdown (June 23-30) follow, with Evolution Bonanza (June 30-July 7) permitting up to 8 Evolution Cards per deck.
