The God of War Ragnarök update version 06.02 patch notes are here to celebrate the franchise's 20th anniversary, bringing with them the highly anticipated Dark Odyssey Collection. Santa Monica Studio has released the full patch notes, detailing the exciting new content available to all players at no additional cost.

This latest update introduces the Dark Odyssey cosmetics for Kratos, Atreus, and Freya, as well as a refreshed appearance for all of the God of War's iconic weaponry. The Dark Odyssey Collection includes a black and gold theme, inspired by the original working name of God of War (2005) and the skin from God of War II, which was unlocked by completing the game on God Mode difficulty.

In addition to these Norse-themed cosmetics, the update introduces a new "Edit Appearance" feature. This allows players to customize their favorite looks without compromising the unique abilities and skills of each armor set. Whether you're embarking on your first journey to battle Thor and Odin or revisiting the epic saga, this update enhances the experience on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.

While the Dark Odyssey Collection has delighted many fans, some had hoped for modern remasters of classics like God of War, God of War 2, and God of War 3. However, no such plans have been announced yet. Despite this, Sony continues to engage fans with new merchandise and vinyl releases, ensuring the God of War community remains active and entertained.
