The anniversary storyline brings together some of Nikke’s most formidable Pilgrims for a decisive showdown against the Rapture Queen. It delivers a narrative that feels like humanity’s final stand against a threat that has been lurking in the shadows for an eternity. Players will encounter three new characters during this event, each adding their unique style to the battlefield.

SSR Nayuta serves as a Pioneer Squad scout, accompanied by her mechanical partner Mantra. She utilizes duplicates linked via a NIMPH housed within a gourd—yes, it’s just as unconventional as it sounds. SSR Liberalio, a member of the Heretics, pursues her targets with ruthless precision and complex loyalty to the Queen she regards as her mother.

For those seeking something more lighthearted, SSR Chime joins the roster as a free character. A skilled strategist from the Crown, she makes up for her petite stature with sharp wit and tactical brilliance.

Additionally, Surface Beta introduces a new large-scale mode where players engage in expansive battles to capture outposts, collect resources, and repel waves of Raptures. It stands as one of the most substantial additions the series has ever seen.
