Acquiring Formal Wear in GTA 5

Michael's Closet:

To change, return to Michael's house (indicated by a white house icon on the map). Ascend the stairs to the second floor, enter the bedroom, and access the closet. Press the prompt in the top-left corner of the screen to access the wardrobe. Select the "Suits" category (second from the top).

For simplicity, choose a complete suit from the "Full Suits" option at the top – the Slate, Gray, or Topaz suits are all appropriate for the mission. Equipping one of these will allow you to proceed.

High-End Clothing Stores (Ponsonbys):

Alternatively, purchase suits at Ponsonbys stores (three locations are marked on the map). However, note that not all Ponsonbys suits are considered "formal" by Lester. To avoid unnecessary expense, utilizing existing suits from Michael's wardrobe is recommended.
