Grand Theft Auto Online's latest update sparks controversy by restricting remote business income collection to GTA+ subscribers. The Bottom Dollar Bounties DLC, released June 25th, introduced a bounty hunting business and other content. However, the convenient feature of remotely collecting passive income from various owned businesses (nightclubs, arcades, etc.) is now exclusively available to GTA+ members via the Vinewood Club app.

Rockstar Games has consistently added purchasable businesses to GTA Online since 2013, each generating passive income. Previously, players had to manually collect these earnings from each location, a tedious process. The Bottom Dollar Bounties update offered a streamlined solution, but only for paying subscribers.
