Capturing Monsters in Monster Hunter Wilds

Capturing monsters in *Monster Hunter Wilds* is a straightforward process, but it requires a bit of strategy. The key is to weaken the monster first. Once it's sufficiently damaged, your Palico will alert you, and you'll notice other signs like a skull icon over the monster on your minimap, limping, or drooling, indicating low HP.

When the monster is weak, it's time to set your trap. You have two options: a Shock Trap or a Pitfall Trap. Place the trap on the ground and lure the monster into it.
