Roblox's popular first-person shooter PvP experience, Rivals, has dropped Update 9, introducing the innovative Gunblade weapon and the Bridge map.

Developer Nosniy Games outlined the additions in today's patch notes, highlighting minor adjustments while focusing on future developments. While a smaller update than some recent releases, it still offers engaging new content.

The Gunblade, a hybrid rifle and blade, is a natural fit for Rivals' combat. Its dual functionality—ranged attacks and melee strikes—adds a strategic element, particularly effective on the new Bridge map. This Seoul-based arena, created by @GreatGuyBoom, features close-quarters combat within a limited space defined by concrete walls and a bus.

The developers stated, "We value your feedback and assure you that all necessary improvements will be implemented in time for Ranked."

The Winter Spotlight challenges have been replaced with a new set of challenges! Complete tasks on the Bridge map to earn keys and the limited-time Bungeoppang charm!

OTHER

• The Demon Shorty & Demon Uzi skins have received minor modifications.
• The Hexxed Flare Gun, Hexxed Candle, and Hexxed wrap have been renamed to Vexed Flare Gun, Vexed Candle, and Vexed.
