Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 9: Cosmic Overhaul Arrives December 3rd!

Get ready for a celestial upgrade! Hearthstone's Battlegrounds Season 9 launches December 3rd, bringing a universe of changes. Prepare for a revamped Tavern with cosmic themes, cutting-edge tech, and a completely overhauled minion lineup.

Key Features:

• Bob's Technotavern Gets an Upgrade: Season 9 resets ratings and eliminates Trinkets, replacing them with new Battlegrounds Tokens. These tokens let you reroll a hero option at the selection screen – perfect for escaping undesirable choices.

• Staggered Minion and Hero Reveals: The reveal schedule is as follows: Naga and Dragon reveals are already out, Quilboar and Beast reveals on November 21st, Pirate and Duos-only reveals on November 22nd, Murloc and Demon reveals on November 25th, Elemental and Undead reveals on November 26th. Preview event streams and 31.2 patch notes arrive December 2nd.

• New Heroes and Minions: Three new heroes join the fray, with Farseer Nobundo already generating buzz. Nearly 90 minions and Tavern spells are entering or leaving the pools.

• Damage Cap Adjustment (Solo Mode): Solo Battlegrounds games will have a modified damage cap: 5 damage early game, increasing to 10 on turn 4 and 15 on turn 8. The cap is removed once you reach the top 4.

• Phased Minion Release: The initial launch (December 3rd) includes Beasts, Dragons, Quilboar, Pirates, Naga, and Mechs. Murlocs and Demons arrive December 5th, followed by Undead and Elementals on December 9th.
