Heavy Metal stands as one of the most iconic and influential anthology magazines ever created, and we are thrilled to announce its triumphant return to comic book stores. Thanks to an overwhelmingly successful crowdfunding campaign, the new volume of Heavy Metal launches on Wednesday, April 30.

Heavy Metal #1 has a substantial print run of 73,000 copies, making it the series' largest print issue in decades. Priced at $14.99, this debut issue spans 232 pages.

Heavy Metal #1 arrives in comic shops on April 30 and on newsstands starting May 13. Subsequent issues are planned for quarterly publication, but the publisher is open to increasing the frequency if reader demand supports it.
