IGN has exciting news for fans of *Hollow Knight: Silksong*: the much-anticipated game will be playable at Australia's national museum of screen culture, ACMI, starting September 18, 2025. Developed by the Adelaide-based studio Team Cherry, *Silksong* has been at the top of the Steam wishlist chart for years, and while the exact release date remains under wraps, with only a broad 2025 window given, this museum event offers a concrete milestone for fans to look forward to.

The game will be featured in the Melbourne museum's *Game Worlds* exhibition, which not only allows visitors to play *Silksong* but also provides an in-depth look at its design and artistic direction. This includes displays showcasing the hundreds of sprites that animate the movements and attacks of the protagonist, Hornet, as well as the intricate logic behind the game's challenging boss fights.
