Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.1, "Light Slips the Gate, Shadow Greets the Throne," launches February 26th, escalating the Flame-Chase storyline into new, uncharted territories.

New 5-Star Characters Join the Fray

Version 3.1 introduces two formidable 5-star characters: Tribbie and Mydei. Following the securing of Nikador's Coreflame, players journey to the Grove of Epiphany to rescue survivors and unravel the catastrophe's mysteries, ultimately aiming to reclaim Cerces' Coreflame for Okhema.

The adventure delves into the Abyss of Fate (formerly Janusopolis), now revealed in its Day State. This exploration unearths the long-lost history of the Era Chrysea and unveils Tribbie's (Tribios) past. Tribbie, the Holy Maiden of Janusopolis, is a 5-star Quantum character following the Path of Harmony, tasked with spreading a prophecy received from Kephale.

Mydei, the crown prince of Castrum Kremnos, is a fierce 5-star Imaginary character following the Path of Destruction. His combat style involves sacrificing HP to power up, transforming into an enhanced state with automatic enemy attacks during his turns.

Returning Characters and Events

Limited 5-star characters Yunli and Huohuo return in Version 3.1's warp event, appearing in the first and second halves respectively.

The Divergent Universe event enters a new season, focusing research on Amphoreus and introducing a dynamic Day and Night System to battles. Combat mechanics shift based on the time of day, altering buffs and effects.

"The Awooo Firm" event casts players as managers assisting Okhema's chimera squad.
