Nickelodeon unveiled the first image from Avatar: Seven Havens at the Avatar: The Last Airbender 20th anniversary panel during San Diego Comic-Con 2025.

IGN was present in Ballroom 20 for the reveal and captured the image shown below.

Avatar: Seven Havens is a 26-episode 2D animated series focusing on a young Earthbender who is the Avatar succeeding Korra. The series is co-created by Avatar: The Last Airbender creators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko.

Nickelodeon describes Seven Havens as taking place in a world "shattered by a cataclysmic event. A young Earthbender learns she is the new Avatar after Korra, but in this perilous time, that identity brands her as humanity's destroyer, not its savior. Pursued by human and spirit adversaries, she and her long-lost twin must unravel their mysterious origins to save the Seven Havens before the last bastions of civilization fall."

Avatar: Seven Havens will be released across two seasons, with a 13-episode Book 1 and a 13-episode Book 2.

This marks the first main television series from Avatar Studios, which is also producing a theatrical animated film centered on Aang. This feature film, scheduled for release on January 30, 2026, will follow an adult Aang on a new journey.
