Master the Fountain of Confession Puzzle in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

This guide details how to solve the intricate Fountain of Confession puzzle within the Vatican section of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, unlocking the secrets of the giants. Remember to photograph all inscriptions and artwork for Adventure Points!

Accessing the Puzzle:

After completing the Sacred Wounds puzzle, use your journal map to navigate to the Fountain of Confession in the outer courtyard.

Part 1: The Dragon Statues

1. Locate the chest near the fountain's construction area. It contains the fountain key, granting access to the adjacent storage room.

   

2. Use your whip to rappel to the rooftop and swing to the window overlooking the fountain.

3. Swing to the second dragon statue and use your whip to grab its claw, activating a lever. Manipulate the lever to rotate the statue until it faces the opposite dragon.

   

4. Repeat the process on the first dragon statue, noting its missing claw. Retrieve the fallen claw from the scaffolding below. A cutscene with Gina Lombardi will ensue.

   

5. Replace the claw and rotate the statue to face its counterpart. This rotates the central fountain statue.

   

Part 2: The Water Puzzle

1. Use your whip to pull the fountain statue, revealing a gate blocked by three statues. A lever appears; Indy and Gina will activate it together.

   

2. Position the larger male statue under the water bucket and activate the water mechanism. Push the wet statue towards the smaller statue to “baptize” it. This moves the leftmost statue.

   

Part 3: The Angel Puzzle

1. Reactivate the lever to reveal the second puzzle. Manipulate the stone path layers using the handles on the wall to guide the angel figure to the right.

   

2. This moves the remaining statue, unlocking the gate. Push the central statue through the gate to activate a spiral staircase.
