Infinity Nikki Reports Huge Earnings During First Month
Infinity Nikki's Phenomenal First Month: $16 Million in Revenue
Infinity Nikki, the latest installment in the popular Nikki series, has shattered expectations, generating nearly $16 million in mobile game revenue within its first month. This surpasses previous Nikki titles by a staggering 40 times, highlighting its exceptional success.
The game's launch in December 2024 saw immediate player engagement, with over 5 million downloads in China alone, contributing significantly to its financial achievement. Initial daily revenue exceeded $1.1 million, though subsequent days saw fluctuations. A Version 1.1 update sparked a remarkable resurgence, nearly tripling daily revenue.
Developed by Infold Games (Papergames in China), Infinity Nikki transports players to the magical world of Miraland. Players guide Nikki and her cat, Momo, through diverse nations, solving puzzles and overcoming obstacles using magically-enhanced outfits powered by Whimstars. The game's pre-registration numbers reached an impressive 30 million, indicating strong anticipation before launch.
AppMagic data (via Pocket Gamer) reveals a strong initial performance: $3.51 million in the first week, $4.26 million in the second, and $3.84 million in the third. While weekly revenue decreased to $1.66 million by the fifth week, the cumulative total still reached nearly $16 million, dwarfing the first-month earnings of Love Nikki ($383,000) and significantly outperforming Shining Nikki's international launch ($6.2 million). Note that these figures reflect mobile platform earnings only.
Record-Breaking Success in China
China's enthusiastic reception is a key driver of Infinity Nikki's success, accounting for over 42% of total downloads.
Post-launch, daily revenue experienced a decline, reaching a low of $141,000 on December 26th. However, the Version 1.1 update revitalized player engagement, boosting daily revenue to $665,000 on December 30th.
Infinity Nikki is available for free on PC, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android. The developers plan to sustain the game's popularity through regular updates and seasonal events like the Fishing Day Event.
