This rapid success marks the fastest sales milestone ever for a game published by the South Korean giant. Launched on March 28, inZOI quickly captured attention, not only for its gameplay but also due to a controversial feature that allowed players to harm children in-game, which Krafton swiftly patched as an "unintended bug."

Despite this initial hiccup, inZOI has received a 'very positive' user review rating on Steam and achieved a peak of 175,000 concurrent viewers on Twitch, placing it third in the Games category. The game also surged to the top of Steam’s Global Top Sellers List just 40 minutes after its release, showcasing its immediate appeal to gamers worldwide.

The in-game user-generated content (UGC) platform, Canvas, saw an impressive engagement with over 1.2 million participants on launch day and more than 470,000 pieces of content uploaded. This level of engagement underscores the community's enthusiasm and creativity within the inZOI universe.

IGN's Early Access review of inZOI scored it a 6/10, praising its visual appeal and ambition but noting a lack of depth at this stage.
