TouchArcade's Weekly Update Roundup: Noteworthy Game Updates

Hello and welcome to another week of noteworthy game updates! This week, Shaun tackles a bumper crop of updates, including (you guessed it!) more than one free-to-play matching puzzle game. Peglin (Free): This week's coveted UMMSotW award goes to Peglin! Version 1.0 introduces Cruciball challenges up to level 20, a new Slime Hive mini-boss battle, and a host of bug fixes, balance tweaks, and overall improvements.

Brawl Stars (Free): Get ready for Brawl Stars time! SpongeBob SquarePants joins the fray in a new event. Plus, two new Brawlers – Moe (Mythic) and Kenji (Legendary) – and several new Hypercharges are on the way over the next few months.

stitch (Premium): More Hoops await in the latest stitch update! This update adds a new set of puzzles, this time with a martial arts-inspired theme. More puzzles mean more soothing, satisfying gameplay.

Genshin Impact (Free): Genshin Impact: Natlan Launch is here! Explore the new Natlan region, meet three new characters (Mualani, Kinich, and Kachina), discover new weapons, events, stories, and artifacts.

Temple Run: Puzzle Adventure (Apple Arcade): One hundred new levels and refreshed tournaments are now available in this matching puzzle game spin-off.

Jetpack Joyride 2 (Apple Arcade): Barry Steakfries blasts off into space in this latest update! Escape the clutches of capitalism and enjoy a cosmic adventure.

Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop: New character episodes for Sig, Carbuncle, and Rafisol are in Adventure Mode. Meena is a new playable character (episode forthcoming), and seven new music tracks are available.

Hearthstone (Free): Battlegrounds Season 8, "Trinkets & Travels," has arrived, featuring new Trinkets and the Trinket Shop.

Toon Blast (Free): Fifty new levels and a bee-themed (or happiness-themed?) episode have been added.

Royal Match (Free): One hundred new levels and a new jousting arena await.
