RuneScape's new Group Ironman mode is now live! Team up with two to five friends for a challenging co-op experience. This hardcore mode retains many Ironman restrictions, fostering strong teamwork and reliance on your group.

What is Group Ironman Mode?

This new mode offers intense cooperative gameplay. While it maintains the spirit of Ironman—no Grand Exchange, handouts, or XP boosts—it allows collaboration within your team. Together, you'll gather resources, craft equipment, level up skills, and conquer challenging bosses.

Group Ironman allows shared participation in specific minigames, Distractions and Diversions, and provides access to unique group-exclusive content. A new island, the Iron Enclave, serves as your team's base of operations.

Competitive Group Ironman: Test Your Mettle

For even more of a challenge, a Competitive Group Ironman mode is also available. This mode tests your group's self-sufficiency, prohibiting interaction with players outside your team. Several group-oriented activities are restricted, including: Blast Furnace, Conquest, Deathmatch, Fishing Trawler, Fist of Guthix, The Great Orb Project, Heist, Pest Control, Soul Wars, Stealing Creation, and Trouble Brewing.
