Some quests in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* require a trip to Kuttenberg before becoming available. Reaching Kuttenberg, however, unlocks inter-region travel, opening up new areas to explore. This guide details completing the "Under the Straw Hat" quest.

Before tackling "Under the Straw Hat," you must begin "In Vino Veritas," a Kuttenberg-based side quest. Upon arrival, speak to Casper Rudolf, offering free wine samples on the city's west side. He needs information to improve his wine.

You can either impress Havel with wine knowledge or retrieve Casper's book from Adleta. Impressing Havel directly requires fine clothing and cleanliness. To succeed, choose "Germany," "Steinberger," and "It's missing ginger" when speaking with him. Return this information to Casper.

Accessing the Vineyard

Casper next requests infiltration of the vineyard north of Kuttenberg to learn about the incense Havel mentioned. Avoid trespassing by using the main road; speak to the recruiter there. This initiates the "Under the Straw Hat" quest. Proceed to find Jerome on a bench within the estate.

Inform Jerome of your assigned task. He'll provide details about vineyard work.

Working at the Vineyard

Work begins the following day. After resting, return to the vineyard. To earn payment, move sacks and harvest thistles. Alternatively, focus directly on obtaining the secret incense.

The incense is located in the cellar of the main building. Access requires lockpicking or stealing Jerome's keys. Retrieve the Sulphur Wicks from the cellar chest to complete the primary objective. Optionally, collect five seedlings for an increased reward. These are found across the building, requiring quick action to avoid detection.

After completing your work (or not!), report back to Jerome for payment (if applicable) or to Casper to deliver the wicks and possibly seedlings. This completes both "Under the Straw Hat" and "In Vino Veritas." Continue to other side quests, such as "Master Schindel's Toys."
