Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 previews will be out 4 weeks before release
Review codes for the upcoming game will be distributed in the near future, following its gold master status achievement in early December, according to Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, the global public relations manager. To allow reviewers and streamers ample time for preparation, these codes are expected to be released four weeks before the game's launch.
Interestingly, initial reviews and previews based on sections of the review build will be available a week after the code distribution.
The developers opted to delay the release date to ensure a polished and exceptional gaming experience for players at the start of 2025. The current release date is February 4th. This postponement also strategically avoids direct competition with other major titles like Assassin's Creed Shadows, Avowed, and Monster Hunter Wilds, all slated for a February release.
The game will be available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. Console players can expect 4K/30 fps and 1440p/60 fps options, with PS5 Pro optimization implemented since launch.
For PC gamers aiming for ultra settings, a system with an Intel Core i7-13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, 32GB of RAM, and a GeForce RTX 4080 or Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics card is recommended.
