In a recent interview with Tech4gamers, global PR manager Tobias Stolz-Zwilling revealed the upcoming patch addresses over 1,000 bugs.

"This patch has been in development for over five months and includes well over a thousand fixes."

While players naturally hope for more than just bug fixes—perhaps new gameplay mechanics or quality-of-life improvements—the sheer scale of the patch (five months of development!) suggests substantial enhancements are likely. We'll have to wait for the full patch notes for specifics.

Further good news: Warhorse confirmed official mod support is coming within the next two weeks. Initially, modding capabilities will be limited—custom mission creation, for example, won't be available at launch—but the studio plans to expand modding tools over time.
