League of Legends: Wild Rift is preparing for its next major update. Version 6.2, titled Powers Unbound, launches on July 17 with the Soulforce Awakening theme. This update introduces new champions, a revamped item system, champion adjustments, an improved player behavior system, and a collection of impressive new skins.

League of Legends: Wild Rift Update 6.2: A Major Expansion

Three new champions are entering the fray. Aurora, the Witch Between Worlds, debuts as an AP assassin, offering a complex mid lane playstyle. Her kit excels for players who master positioning and strategic timing.

Joining her is Bard, the Wandering Caretaker, accompanied by his iconic meeps. His unique ability to create magical journey portals allows for dynamic repositioning across the map.

Completing the trio is Vel'Koz, the Eye of the Void. This long-range artillery mage emphasizes geometric skill shots, letting you precisely dismantle opponents from afar.

Update 6.2 overhauls iconic items like Bloodthirster, Infinity Edge, and Essence Reaver. A new legendary item, Soul Transfer, is designed for marksmen. Each critical strike creates a phantom that mirrors your basic attacks.

One of the most charming additions is a magical piggy that roams near the Baron and Dragon pits. Defeating it grants gold, experience, and occasionally, a piglet that charges at enemy turrets. Magical-themed Easter eggs also begin appearing on the Rift.

Introducing the Player Behavior Score System

Wild Rift 6.2 launches a new Player Behavior Score system. This feature categorizes players into five distinct groups based on their in-game conduct.

Consistently positive behavior is rewarded with special perks and full access to ranked play. Conversely, negative conduct can restrict features and present additional hurdles in ranked progression.

Ranked and Legendary Queue progress is now unified, allowing players to advance in both modes simultaneously. The Grandmaster tier has been split into three distinct divisions for more granular and satisfying progression.
