Marvel Rivals Updates
Kirisaki-themed Skins for Loki and Hela
NetEase made an exciting announcement on Marvel Rivals' Twitter (X) on April 21, revealing new skins for Loki and Hela. The skins, titled Loki’s Shin Sagi-Shi and Hela’s Yami no Karasu, draw inspiration from Marvel's Kirisaki Mountains in the Demon Days series by Peach Momoko. This series creatively reimagines Marvel characters within the rich tapestry of Japanese folklore and mythology.
Marvel Rivals has previously released skins in this theme, with Peni Parker’s Yatsukahagi being the latest addition. Fans can look forward to more skins in the future, as hinted by the game's social media updates. Loki and Hela’s new costumes will be available starting April 25 at 2:00 UTC. While official pricing has not been disclosed, these skins are expected to include unique emotes, stickers, and additional features.
In conjunction with the skin reveal, Marvel Rivals launched Art Vision Vol. 01, a video series where the game's art developers delve into their creative process. Marvel Rivals Art Director Dino, along with other design experts, shared insights into the inspirations and foundational elements behind the game's visual design.
Earn Rewards By Striking A Pose!
To celebrate the launch of Season 2: Hellfire Gala, Marvel Rivals is hosting an online event where players can win free goodies. The event involves finding welcome signs scattered around the new Krakoa Map, striking a pose, capturing a screenshot, and sharing it by retweeting or commenting on the event post.
Ten lucky participants will win an exclusive Jeff the Land Shark Hand Fan, while another ten will receive special Series 2 Fridge Magnets. The event concludes on April 25, with winners being announced on April 29.
NetEase is also working to enhance Marvel Rivals' accessibility, recently introducing an experimental feature designed to reduce memory usage and improve game stability. Marvel Rivals is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Stay updated with the latest news and developments by checking out our dedicated article below!
