8 ImagesThe Lycan is inspired by a story conceived by Jane and screenwriter David James Kelly (known for Logan), with the script penned by Mike Carey (renowned for Lucifer and The Unwritten). The artwork is brought to life by Diego Yapur, with coloring by D.C. Alonso and lettering by AndWorld Design. Additionally, the series will feature stunning covers by Tim Bradstreet, celebrated for his work on Punisher MAX and Hellblazer.

Here's the official description from Comixology for The Lycan #1:

Year of Our Lord 1777: A hardened band of international big game hunters, returning from Africa, find themselves shipwrecked off a small British island.

In exchange for new supplies and the repair of their ship, The Calydonian, Lord Ludgate hires the men for a task they're uniquely suited for: to hunt down and destroy the Berserking Beasts that have been preying on his subjects, including a group of young Benedictine Nuns.
