Magic: The Gathering - 2 New Cards from Aetherdrift

First up, let's dive into the details of the Cloudspire Coordinator. This uncommon creature card is a perfect representation of the red-white color pairing in Aetherdrift, embodying the spirit of the Cloudspire Racing Team from the plane of Kylem, which was first introduced in the 2018 set, Battlebond. With a power of 3, the Cloudspire Coordinator can crew vehicles on its own, and its activated ability allows you to create Pilot token creatures to take the wheel, making it a versatile choice for red-white decks in Aetherdrift drafts.
Next, we have the rare enchantment, Count on Luck. This 3-mana card, with its straightforward all-red-pip casting cost, introduces an "impulse draw" mechanic to your mono-red deck. At the start of each of your turns, you'll exile the top card of your library and have the opportunity to play it during that turn. It's a powerful tool for those who can utilize it effectively—use it or lose it!
We're also excited to showcase Count on Luck in its extended-art and First-Place Foil versions. While the extended-art treatment extends the art beyond the traditional card frame, the First-Place Foils introduce a dazzling new feature to Aetherdrift. These golden foils are exclusively available in a randomized buy-a-box promo pack included with every Aetherdrift box, featuring all the set's rares and 10 full-art lands.
Mark your calendars! Aetherdrift will be racing onto store shelves and online platforms on February 14, with prerelease events starting on February 7. For more insights into the set's mechanics, be sure to check out the detailed guide available here.
