Faran Tahir will reprise his role as Raza Hamidmi al-Wazar, the leader of the Afghan terrorist group that held Tony Stark captive in the film's opening sequence. This marks a return for the character nearly two decades after his initial appearance. Similar to Samuel Sterns' reappearance in Captain America: Brave New World, this unexpected return adds another layer to the MCU's ever-expanding narrative. While Vision Quest, starring Paul Bettany as White Vision, currently lacks a release date, the inclusion of Hamidmi al-Wazar promises an intriguing storyline.

However, Vision Quest might also delve into more obscure, previously overlooked elements of the MCU, much like Deadpool & Wolverine explored the less-conventional aspects of the former Fox Marvel universe.
