Kabam is set to enhance Marvel Contest of Champions with a series of exciting updates, including the launch of the Dark Phoenix Saga, the introduction of new Champions, and the debut of a novel character type called Eidols. This month also marks a special celebration of the game's powerful female characters, giving players the opportunity to influence which Champion will undergo a significant rework in 2025.

Jean Grey and Bastion are the newest Champions joining The Contest, each bringing unique powers and a compelling new storyline. Jean Grey will be available for addition to your roster starting March 13th, followed by Bastion on March 27th. Leading up to their arrival, the Dark Phoenix Saga will commence on March 3rd, featuring Jean Grey and the X-Men battling dangerous variants in a thrilling new quest.

The lore of Marvel Contest of Champions will further expand with the introduction of more Eidols, continuing the storyline of The Founders. Following the debut of Isophyne in December 2024, three more Eidols are scheduled for 2025, each with a unique sourcing system. The next Eidol, Lumatrix, will be introduced on March 5th and remain available until June 4th.

Lumatrix, designed by The Founders, serves as a master infiltrator with capabilities in spying, sabotage, and assassination, executed with unmatched precision. Constructed from ISO-8 crystals, Lumatrix harnesses the power of light manipulation. Despite its dazzling appearance, it's a lethal weapon designed to eliminate threats while remaining undetected.

March also brings a celebration of the powerful women of The Contest. Kabam has collaborated with seven female developers and content creators, each championing a different female Champion.
