I've been reminded that I should give some love to Marvel games beyond Marvel Snap. While Snap gets frequent coverage, other titles often get relegated to Monday's Best Updates. That's a fair point! So, let's dedicate a Marvel Minute to see what's happening elsewhere. Both Marvel Future Fight and Marvel Contest of Champions have exciting new events. Let's dive in!

First, Marvel Future Fight is celebrating Iron Man! Tony Stark, ever the innovator, is adding new suits and weaponry. This event is inspired by Invincible Iron Man, introducing new outfits for Tony and Pepper. Here's the lowdown from the update notes:

Now, let's check out the ever-popular Marvel Contest of Champions. New events usually mean new playable characters, and this game's roster is incredibly diverse. We're talking deep cuts here. I'm thrilled to see lesser-known characters like Count Nefaria become playable. As a longtime Marvel fan, this is a real treat. The update notes have all the details:

Count Luchino Nefaria, a descendant of Italian nobility, used his wealth and influence to become a powerful Maggia leader. Scientific enhancements granted him superhuman abilities, but at a cost. Shathra

Act 9; Chapter 1

Glorious Games

Introducing our third Saga: Glorious Games! To celebrate the Contest's history and the Maestro's return, four months of celebratory games are planned. Each month focuses on a different game element, starting with September's Circus Maximus and culminating in December's Grand Banquet! This includes a classical antiquity aesthetic, a Champion chase, Champion reworks, and new Events and Quests.

Realm Events

Collaborate with Summoners across the Battlerealm! Realm Events contribute points globally. Milestone rewards are claimed upon reaching global and individual thresholds. Ranked rewards, including a unique player title, are also available.”
