The developers plan to release an update approximately every month and a half, introducing two new heroes each quarter. In an insightful interview, game director Guangyun Chen revealed that each seasonal update is divided into two parts. The first half of the season introduces one new hero, while the second half brings another. This approach keeps both the audience and the players engaged throughout the season.

Beyond new heroes, Marvel Rivals will also offer updates featuring new maps, engaging stories, and challenging objectives. Characters like Blade, who is not yet playable, and Altron, known through leaks, have been teased. Additionally, the entire Fantastic Four team was recently unveiled, adding to the anticipation.
