Marvel Rivals Season 1: Dracula, Fantastic Four, and Balance Changes Detailed

NetEase Games unveiled a developer update outlining significant changes coming to Marvel Rivals in Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST. This season introduces Dracula as the primary antagonist and welcomes the Fantastic Four to the roster. Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman arrive immediately, with the Human Torch and Thing following in six to seven weeks.

The Season 1 battle pass, priced at 990 Lattice (approximately $10), offers 10 skins and rewards players with 600 Lattice and 600 Units upon completion. Three new maps and a new game mode, "Doom Match," are also included.

A new Dev Vision video highlighted balance adjustments. Hela and Hawkeye, deemed overpowered in Season 0, will receive nerfs. Conversely, mobility-focused Vanguards like Captain America and Venom are getting buffs to improve their battlefield effectiveness.

Further balance tweaks affect Wolverine, Storm, and Cloak and Dagger, all receiving improvements to encourage diverse strategic play. Jeff the Land Shark will also see adjustments to better align his early warning indicators with his ultimate's actual hitbox. While his ultimate's power has been a point of discussion, NetEase Games hasn't detailed significant changes to it.

The update remained silent on adjustments to the Seasonal Bonus feature, a point of contention among players. Season 1 promises a wealth of new content and is generating significant player anticipation.
