NetEase Games has delighted Marvel Rivals players by offering free Peni Parker and Scarlet Witch skins in the Season 1: Eternal Night Falls battle pass. Following Doctor Strange's capture, Dracula attacks New York City, prompting the Fantastic Four to lead the defense. Season 1 runs from January 10th to April 11th, 2025.
This new season introduces all four members of the Fantastic Four to the game's expanding roster. Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman are available at launch, while Human Torch and The Thing will arrive in a mid-season update.
Players can obtain free Peni Parker and Scarlet Witch skins without purchasing the premium battle pass (990 Lattice, approximately $10). Completing quests and earning Chrono Tokens unlocks these rewards. Peni Parker's Blue Tarantula skin (page three) features a sky blue and white color scheme for her suit and mech. Scarlet Witch's Emporium Matron skin (page nine) is a crimson and purple dress with a cosmic animation. A free Scarlet Witch emote is also available, but the MVP animation requires the premium pass. A separate Midnight Features event lets players earn a free Thor skin.
Beyond the free cosmetics, new skins for Invisible Woman (Malice – black and red with spikes) and Mister Fantastic (The Maker – dark gray and blue with a mask) are available for purchase in the in-game shop. The overwhelmingly positive fan response reflects the excitement surrounding Marvel Rivals' latest season.
