This event introduces an innovative way to compete, featuring a unique win condition, a special Sanctum location, and groundbreaking mechanics for snapping.

In the Sanctum Showdown mode of Marvel Snap, the race is on to reach 16 points before your opponent. Unlike the standard gameplay, victory isn't determined at turn six but by who first hits the 16-point mark. The Sanctum location is pivotal, doling out the highest points each turn. Additionally, the snapping mechanic has been revamped. Starting from turn three, you have the opportunity to snap once per turn, boosting the Sanctum's value by one point. This twist keeps the game's momentum fluid and unpredictable.

To join a match, you'll need to spend one Scroll, but a win rewards you with another, ensuring the thrill of the game continues. You begin with 12 Scrolls, with two more replenished every eight hours. Should you find yourself low on Scrolls, you can buy more for 40 Gold. Regardless of the match's outcome, you'll climb the Sorcerer Rank and collect Charms. These can be exchanged in the Sanctum Shop for exciting cosmetics or new cards.

Thinking of leveraging Captain Marvel or Dracula to dominate? Think again. To maintain fairness, certain cards and locations have been banned in this mode. Abilities that affect final outcomes are nullified, and cards like Debrii have been excluded to prevent one-sided strategies.
