Marvel Rivals Season 1 Mid-Season Update: No Rank Reset!

Initial plans for a Marvel Rivals Season 1 mid-season rank reset on February 21, 2025, were met with significant player backlash. The proposed reset coincided with the release of two new heroes, The Thing and Human Torch, potentially disrupting the game's meta.

However, NetEase Games responded to player concerns and announced a change of plans. The mid-season update will not include a rank reset. Players will retain their current ranks and scores. To earn new rewards, players simply need to complete 10 competitive matches and meet specific conditions by the end of the season. These rewards include a new Gold rank costume and various Crests of Honor.

This decision showcases NetEase's responsiveness to player feedback and offers players more time to compete at their current rank.
