According to images shared by DiscussingFilm on X / Twitter, the Minecraft movie will feature a TNT box as its popcorn bucket, paired with a chicken jockey drink container. These items are exclusive to the Cinemark chain of theaters in the United States, but other theaters may have their own surprises in store for Minecraft fans.

These Minecraft-themed novelties are the latest in a trend that started with the viral R2-D2 popcorn bucket for 2019's Rise of Skywalker. The success of that bucket inspired theater executives to continue this fun, albeit somewhat overdone and pricey, modern theatrical tradition. If it encourages more people to enjoy the cinematic experience, it's a win in my book.
